Week 26: The Kitchen is IN

Right on time, Marana Kitchens arrived to install the kitchen, master vanity and small built ins next to the fireplace.





Dermot's installer, Michael, worked a long day and got all of the custom closets installed.




The front hall has Komandor sliding doors... I love the look and quality of these doors!

Week 9: Basement Pour

While Kevin prepares the mast and meter box for electrical service (I love bungalows.... no waiting for exterior cladding to get our own electrical service!), Thom was busy prepping the basement.  He leveled, added a layer of 1.5 rigid foam continuous insulation, then made a little hole in the front for his chute.  By Thursday, he was ready to pour and by Friday we were walking on the new basement floor!

Week 3: Framed front, walls topped up

In our third week, we took advantage of some nice weather and got the front and some of the main floor walls framed up.  Tom was also able to pour the extra height on the existing walls (bringing interior ceilings up to ten feet) and start the rear addition foundation.
